HUBLI: Bank employees from across the country would go on strike on March 28, 29 and 30 in protest against what they termed inordinate delay in meeting their demands. G.D. Nadaf, joint general secretary, All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) and General Secretary, All India State Bank Officers Federation (AISBOF) told presspersons here on Tuesday that the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) had already served strike notice to the IBA on their demands. Mr. Nadaf said the major demands were provision of second option on pension, restoration of appointments on compassionate grounds and stopping outsourcing of banks' functions.
