HYDERABAD: The senior inter-district triathlon championships for men and women will be held at the Srinivasa Sports Complex, Tirupati, on March 3 and 4. There will be 1.5km of swimming, 40km of cycling and 10km of running, one after another. The State teams for the senior Nationals in Chennai will be picked at the above meet. An aquathlon for junior and sub-junior boys and girls will also be held. Boys and girls under 18 years of age, born on or after January 1, 1988 will compete in the junior category over 800 metres of swimming and five km of running. For sub-juniors aged under 15, it will be three km of running and 400 m of swimming. Entries close on March 1, while registration will be done at the venue on March 3.
