Bharath, Karan star for Vultures

Bangalore: K.V. Bharath's unbeaten 132 and Karan Tandon's five-wicket haul set the base for Vultures CC's 97-run victory over Rajajinagar Colts in a Y.S. Ramaswamy Memorial Trophy tournament match here on Tuesday. The scores:

Vultures CC 277 for eight in 50 overs (K.V. Bharath 132 n.o., A.G. Deepak 56) bt Rajajinagar Colts CA 180 in 39 overs (Girish Rao 66, Karan Tandon five for 44).

Young Boy's CA 201 in 48.1 overs (Sagar 84) lost to Jawahar SC 203 for six in 38.2 overs (Sanjay Kumar 76).

BEL SC 118 in 26.1 overs lost to RWF 119 for one in 11.3 overs (Praveen Kumar 54 n.o.).

Selection camp

The Karnataka State Football Association will conduct selection trials-cum-coaching camp for senior girls at the BDFA Stadium here from March 1.The selected players will represent the State in the 15th senior National women's football championship scheduled to be held in Orissa in March.
