GUNTUR: Four daily wage earners were killed on Tuesday at Vengalaipalem when the tipper they were travelling in fell into a culvert. The four workers got buried under the metal chips. Four others were also injured in the incident. The deceased were identified as, Pulagam Pedanageswara Rao, 50, Talluri Ankamma Rao, 30, Thati Bhagya Rao, 60, and Chimakurthy Venkateswarulu, 60. All the victims hailed from Vemavaram village in Phirangipuram mandal and were employed at stone crushing units. The mishap occurred while the driver was negotiating a curve.
