College gets accreditation

Rajahmundry: The National Accreditation Committee has given B-plus grade to Sri Kandukuri Rajyalakshmi College for Women here.

Announcing this at a press conference here on Tuesday, Sankar Rao of the Hitakarini Samajam, under which the college is running, said that after getting B-plus, the college would get Rs.50 lakhs in next five years for its development.

It was planned to build sports complex with indoor stadium, improve basic amenities in hostels, modernise chemistry and computer labs and to set up complex for Jawahar Knowledge Centre to improve the skills of girl students in spoken English and personality development.

Mr. Sankar Rao said that efforts would be made to develop the college for getting A-plus grade in next two years.
