ALAPPUZHA: The provisions in the Railway Budget to ensure the development of the railway in the district will be beneficial for Alappuzha, K.S. Manoj, MP, has said. In a statement here on Tuesday, Mr. Manoj said the decision railways to start a coach factory in Cherthala was most welcome. He pointed out that the budget had earmarked around Rs.63 crore for the doubling of rail lines in the district. — Staff Reporter
