`Triveni Sangamam' by Nithyasree
Singer Nithyasree Mahadevan
March 11 will be a day to revisit Tamil cine music classicals. Lilting tunes from `Meera', `Naam Iruvar' and `Mannathi Mannan' will be played at Kamarajar Arangam, along with melodies of legends like M.S. Subbulakshmi, D.K. Pattammal and M.L. Vasanthakumari.
Rendering them on the behalf of organisers `Abbas' would be singer Nithyasree Mahadevan. " I am happy to sing the popular numbers of three great musicians, including those of my grandmother D.K. Pattammal. The concert is titled `Triveni Sangamam." I plan to sing 25 to 30 songs in two hours," Ms. Nithyasree added.
