CHENNAI:
The Janata Party president, Subramanian Swamy, has described the success of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Punjab and Uttarakhand as spectacular and excellent.
In a statement here on Tuesday, Dr. Swamy said, "The spectacular Assembly results in three non-contiguous States signify an anti-Congress wave developing in the country, not only because of inflation, but also because of the UPA's capitulation on terrorism, complicity in religious conversion by foreign missionaries and the unjust appeasement of minorities."
