20-year-old killed in accident

TAMBARAM: A 20-year-old was killed on the spot after being run over by a lorry on Mudichur Road, Tambaram, on Monday night. Police said S. Rajendran, 20, and his friend Suresh had gone to Kancheepuram and were returning to their house in Kodambakkam on a motorcycle when the accident occurred.

They tried to overtake a lorry, but came in contact with it while doing so. Rajendran lost control of the motorcycle.Rajendran came under the wheels of the lorry, while Suresh was injured.
