Videocon bonanza

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: An assured gift apart, opportunity to win gold cricket bats and Indigo XL cars is what Videocon has rolled out as part of its big offer for consumers during the forthcoming World Cup Cricket season.

Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday, Videocon Industries Zonal Head Vivek Mishra said the offer on purchase of select models of Videocon CTV will make a customer entitled to an assured gift ranging from refrigerators, DVD Player, MP4 Player, cordless headphone with FM and a World Cup-to-World Cup four-year warranty. For the cricket season, the company has also set up a round-the-clock service centre to help the customers. "Since most of the World Cup matches will be telecast in the night here, we wish to be available for our customers all through," he said.

All brands put together, the sales figure of television in the State touched the 9.50 lakh mark last year and is expected to go up further.
