Armed gang strikes at Baghlingampally

HYDERABAD: An armed gang of three persons robbed an old couple of 10 tolas gold ornaments and Rs. 2,000 during daytime on Tuesday at Baghlingampally.

According to Chikkadpally Inspector V.N.V. Satyanarayana, three persons approached K. Venkata Devarajam, 60, operating a marriage bureau saying they wanted a marriage alliance for their relative and committed the crime.

Succumb to burns

Razia Begum (30) and Heena (13) who suffered serious burns after a gas cylinder exploded in their house at Old Safilguda on February 21, died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital on Monday night.
