Energy theft detected

CHENNAI : In a check by an enforcement team of the Chennai Electricity Distribution circle, energy theft of Rs 1.01 lakh was detected in a domestic line. According to a release, the theft was detected at Kotturpuram and the amount collected from the consumer. Hence no complaint was lodged.

Information regarding energy theft may be given to the Executive Engineer/Enforcement Chennai at 94440-85459, the note added.
