Gangland murder: police raids on

Thiruvananthapuram: The police on Monday night raided several places in the district for certain persons suspected to be responsible for the gangland murder of `Aprani' Krishnakumar.

The police said they were looking for the "behind-the-scene" conspirators and also the assailants who carried out the murder. A senior official said the suspects had "rich and influential" sponsors. Some corrupt elements in the police were leaking information about their movements to the suspects, he said.
