New prosecutor

BANGALORE: The State Government has appointed V.K. Patil as Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) for the trial in the Pratibha murder case and Chitralekha Urs murder case. Mr. Patil will conduct the two trials along with K. Janardhan, who is already the SPP in both the cases.

The Government took the decision following a representation by Mr. Janardhan expressing his inability to conduct the two trials.

Mr. Janardhan wrote the letter after he met with an accident .
