On technology absorption

The State might be a minnow when it comes to the revenue it earns from exporting technology. But Kerala certainly is on top when it comes to its absorption.

At least that is what C.G. Ramachandran Nair, former chairman, State Committee on Science, Technology and Environment says.

At a function at the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum and Priyadarsini Planetarium in the city on Wednesday to commemorate National Science Day, Mr. Nair was of the view that the popularity of mobile phones in the State was as high as any other leading States in the country.
