CHENNAI: Mainly dry weather prevailed over Kerala, and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature fell at one or two places over Rayalseema and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over Telangana, Tamil Nadu above normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala, at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Kadapa and Palakkad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius in the region.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over south interior Karnataka, fell at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, above normal at one or two places over rest Telangana, north interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, below normal at one or two places over rest north interior Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Forecast (Valid until Saturday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (Forecast valid until Saturday Morning): Mainly fair weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
