VISAKHAPATNAM: Some of the former Indian and South Zone cricketers will be seen in action in the South Zone inter-State veterans cricket tournament to be played at Kakinada from Friday. The winner will receive a trophy instituted in the memory of R.V.V.K. Prasad, a former Andhra captain who passed a way recently, according to secretary of North Zone of Andhra Cricket Association P.R. Narayanaswami. Holder Karnataka will take on Tamil Nadu and Kerala meets Goa in the Pool A and B round-robin matches on the first day. Hyderabad and Andhra are the other teams in Pool A and B respectively. The round-robin league concludes on March 4 and the topper of each pool will play the final on March 5. — Special Correspondent
