Sania undergoes MRI test

HYDERABAD: Tennis star Sania Mirza, who pulled out of the Doha Open with an injury, underwent an MRI test on the troubled knee in a City hospital on Thursday. Awaiting the final report from the doctors, she is walking with a slight limp.

South African physical trainer Heath Mathew feels that the injury is not very serious and that the tests are only precautionary to decide the duration of the break.

Sania will decide her future engagements on the WTA circuit once the final report is disclosed to her on Friday. — Principal Correspondent
