Recommendations
In an informal chat with media persons here on Thursday, Mr. Ratnakaran said that the Government, through the budget, had the responsibility to take forward the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission. The budget was presented after the Commission submitted its full report that had several recommendations on the issue of agriculture debt and ways to face the challenges in the production and marketing of agriculture produce. However, the budget had no proposals to implement these recommendations, he pointed out.
