`No gains for State in budget'

Thiruvananthapuram:
Nationalist Congress Party State president K.Muraleedharan said here on Thursday that the Railway and Union Budgets contained practically nothing for the State.
Addressing a press meet, he said the Railway budget had been welcomed by the Chief Minister and the Leader of the Opposition, but in terms of fund allocation, the State had got practically nothing. The Salem division had become a reality with the Union Railway Minister allocating Rs. 3 crore, Mr. Muraleedharan said.
