MADIKERI: Kodandera K. Uthaiah (75), a prominent businessman and owner of a private transport fleet, died at a private nursing home here at 7.15 p.m., after brief illness, according to information received here on Thursday. Uthaiah, a bachelor, leaves behind five brothers and a sister. He hailed from Hathur village in Virajpet taluk. Cremation will take place in the city on Friday.
