NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to grant an interim stay on release of the new Bollywood film "Nishabd" under its present title. However, a Division Bench of the Court comprising Justice M. K. Sharma and Justice Sanjiv Khanna issued notices to filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's R.G. Film Factory, Adlabs Films Limited and Super Cassettes Limited directing them to file their replies by April 4 to an appeal filed by Kanungo Media Private Limited. The film is slated for release this on Friday (March 2). On Tuesday, Justice A. K. Sikri of the High Court had dismissed the suit on the ground of delay in approaching it for the relief. In the appeal, counsel for the appellant submitted that the delay in approaching the Court could not take away his client's right to the title of the film.
