Programme on studies abroad

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI : Students of Sri Ramanujar Engineering College in Vandalur were recently given an orientation on the prospects of studying abroad.

Organised by Visu International consultants, the day-long seminar covered courses, fee structure, scholarships and earning opportunities in countries such as the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Germany, Sweden, Singapore, New Zealand and Canada.

Students also got to know of the foreign universities which did not levy tuition fees.

The college already has an industry-institute coordination programme under which students join projects at leading industrial houses such as Ashok Leyland, Rane Brake Linings and Jonneswood and Sons. During these projects, students render innovative inputs in core engineering areas.
