SI jobs: DGP cautions people

HYDERABAD: Director-General of Police M. A. Basith has cautioned public not to believe any person making false promises of securing Sub-Inspector jobs for which, recruitment was currently on, as the procedure was "foolproof and merit-based".

An official spokesman in a press release on Thursday said that it had come to the notice of the department that some "unscrupulous" people were collecting money from gullible candidates promising to secure the SI job.
