Crime Watch

Found dead

A carpenter was found dead under mysterious circumstances near the hillocks at Raidurgam on Thursday. K. Ramachari (22), a resident of Manikonda village, left home on Saturday saying that he was going on some work. Passers-by found his body with injuries and alerted the police today morning.

Body retrieved

The Cyberabad police on Thursday retrieved the body of a man from Durgam Cheruvu at Madhapur. He has been identified as D. Chandu (35), a resident of Raidurgam.

Commits suicide

A centring worker committed suicide by consuming poison near a bus stop in Shamshabad on Wednesday. Mohd. Mahmood (23) of Jahanuma took the extreme step, as he was depressed after his relatives allegedly failed to arrange a proper alliance for him, the police said.

Succumbs to injuries

Kaleem, 45, who was allegedly stabbed by one Atif during a clash at Nampally on Wednesday, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.

A murder case was registered following Kaleem's death. No arrests were made.
