Teachers' federation demand

Thiruvananthapuram: All-India Federation of University and College Teachers' Organisation (AIFUCTO) would submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister demanding steps to prevent the entry of foreign varsities. One killed

Thiruvananthapuram: One person was killed and another injured when the motorbike they were riding was hit by a KSRTC bus at Konkanam near Nedumangad on Thursday. Sumesh, 23, of Vithura, who was injured seriously, died later at the Medical College hospital. Sujith, 23, of Vithura, has been admitted to the hospital with injuries. — Staff Reporter
