NEW DELHI: Acting swiftly on a complaint about a missing 52-year-old French national who got separated from her group at Delhi airport early on Thursday, the Delhi police traced her to a hotel in Paharganj within a couple of hours. Lemonneir Edith, who formed part of a 21-member tourist group, landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport by a British Airways flight at 1-30 a.m. On landing at the airport, the group left for Regent Continental in Karol Bagh in three taxis. They were scheduled to board a train to Pathankot from New Delhi railway station later in the day. On reaching the hotel, group leader Simone Elizabeth found that one of the members, Lemonneir, was missing. Some went back to the airport looking for her, but when she could not be found, the matter was reported to the police. Sensing the urgency of the matter50 teams were sent in different directions. She was eventually traced by Head Constable Dinesh at Lords Hotel in Paharganj. Ms. Lemonneir told police that after she got separated she took a room at Lords Hotel and decided to rejoin the group at New Delhi railway station.
