Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: Tata Indicom has launched an Internet facility with Pre Paid Walky to provide speedy Net access to subscribers.

To connect to the Net, users should have an Internet-enabled LG LSP 350T Walky and data cable to connect the phone to a personal computer. The walky, priced at Rs.1,999, has an in-built modem. Internet access charges are Rs.2 per MB unit. An installation software is provided free of cost along with data cable.

Ravinder Taneja, COO, Tamil Nadu Circle, Tata Teleservices, said the facility was introduced in view of the increasing demand for Net access among users in urban and rural areas.
