SBI cultural meet begins

TIRUPATI: The annual cultural, literary and sports meet of State Bank of India's (SBI) Hyderabad circle was inaugurated by District Collector S.S.Rawat at Mahati auditorium on Saturday.

D.Narayana Rao, director, National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL), took part as the guest of honour.

Contests

Cultural programmes are being conducted at the same venue, while the athletic meet and indoor games are conducted at SVU Tarakarama stadium and SBI Learning Centre premises respectively.

Table tennis, carroms, athletics and chess are being held in sports section, while light music, playlets, mono action and fancy dress form part of cultural events.

Literary sessions include elocution and quiz.

Employees from Tirupati, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam modules, comprising the Hyderabad circle, have converged here for the annual event.
