Fire in cotton godowns

Mahabubnagar: Cotton bales and machinery worth over Rs. 1 crore were gutted in Suryalaxmi Cotton Mills here on Saturday evening when fire broke out due to electric short circuit. The staff noticed the flames in the second godown and within minutes the flames spread to other godowns. Fire service personnel are still trying to control the flames when last reports came in.
