NEW DELHI: The DPCC president, Ram Babu Sharma, said here on Saturday that those desirous of contesting the MCD polls would have to file application on the requisite form as otherwise their bio-data will not be considered. Addressing a meeting of Delhi Congress vice-presidents and general secretaries, Mr. Sharma said direct recommendations of applicants who had not filled the requisite forms would not be considered. He said so far 5,889 application forms had been distributed for 272 wards .
