IGNOU management courses to have time limit now

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University has fixed the maximum duration for its management programmes to be completed for students who registered between the 1987 and 2006 cycle of admission. A release said all students who were registered for the management programme in the July 2003 or thereafter are required to complete all requirements within a maximum of eight years, or they will have to seek fresh admission to complete the left-out course.

The management programmes earlier had "no time bar''. However, now the programme has to be completed in a minimum of two and a half years and a maximum of eight years.
