NELLORE: The Kalyanotsavam of Sri Ranganathaswami and his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi was performed with religious fervour. The `wedding ceremony' was held amid recitation of Vedic mantras and pronouncing the family pedigree of the bride and bridegroom on the seventh day of the Brahmotsavam here at Ranganayakulapet on Sunday. Grandeur marked the Kalyanotsavam as a large number of devotees participated, while priests recited Sanskrit verses. `Mohini avataram' was celebrated on Saturday to commemorate Sri Ranganathaswami's incarnation as Mohini and his assistance rendered to the gods during the `Ksheerasagaramadanam'.
