Support for Koorumala stir

KOCHI: National Alliance for People's Movement coordinator and environmental activist Sandeep Pandey has offered his organisation's support to the ongoing campaign by the residents of Ilanji against setting up a rock sand-mining unit at Koorumala.

Mr. Pandey on Sunday visited the base of the Koorumala hill where the activists of the Koorumala Conservation Action Council were sitting in satyagraha for a fortnight.

Mr. Pandey said the campaign needed to succeed and offered all the support of the movement.
