A noble gesture by Kasturba girls

Education is not just learning for one's self but it should make the learners sensitive to social problems. Students from the Nutrition and Dietetics department of the Kasturba Gandhi Degree and PG College for Women proved precisely that when they visited the Vikasini Girl's School in Addagutta slum and interacted with the socially deprived children infusing confidence into them.

The students prepared nutritious snacks and distributed them to all children. Each child were given nutritious food like multi grain `muruku and pusti laddu.'

Technoswec - 2007

A two-day National level technical symposium Technoswec - 2007 was conducted recently at Sridevi Women's Engineering College, Gandipet. Addressing the gathering, TCS representative Pattabhiraman Krishna Swamy said students could gain good experience by attending mock interviews, workshops and technical symposia. JNTU Vice-Chancellor K. Rajagopalalso spoke on the occasion.

Books distributed

The All India Urdu Educational Committee and College Development Committee organised a books distribution function at Indira Priyadarshini Government P.G. College for Women, Nampally. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Secretary Harpreet Singh was the chief guest.

City lad tops NSTE

K.K.Anilesh, a student of FIIT-JEE Junior College, Hyderabad, secured first rank in the National Level Science Talent Search Examination -2007. The student will be felicitated with gold medal and scholarship at the Unified Council of India, Hyderabad annual day celebrations to be held on March 9 at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan, Secunderabad.
