For all those engineers out there who realise their potential in being an entrepreneur and who cannot envision the idea of sitting down in a cubicle writing code snippets all their lives and find it way too mundane, here is something for you. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) has come out with a very novel idea of exposing the technical students to what entrepreneurship means and what it could do for them. Technopreneurship is for those creative engineers who are all ready to start a venture on their own and lean on their ideas to hit it off in the most competitive market of the IT industry.
Summit purpose
T-Summit being organised by CBIT from March 12 to 14 is one event that aims at bridging the gap between engineering and entrepreneurship. It's a novelty in that no other engineering institute in the entire State has ever come up with a managerial event. The three-day event is playing host to some of the leading entrepreneurs in the country, providing the technopreneurs with a platform to expose their ideas to the world. With events ranging from quizzing to a sit down conference of the eminent personalities, it aims at testing every ability an entrepreneur should possess those of which include team spirit, creativeness, idea presentation, technical awareness, and a whole lot of cheek and craziness. It's going to be learning, fun and frolic all the way. Registrations are on for engineers and management students at www.tsummit.org.
