Heera National Rally from March 10

KOCHI: Kochi will be back in rally country after a two-year gap with the 22nd Heera Rally which begins here on March 10. The rally will be the first round of the Motorsports Association of India's National Rally Championship.

Popular in the national circuit as the Popular Rally the last two decades, the event now has a new sponsor with Heera Constructions Pvt. Ltd coming in. The event, organised by the Kerala Auto Sports Club, will cover a distance of about 400 kms over two days after being flagged off from the Regional Sports Centre here.

Team MRF and Team Chettinad are some of the top teams which will be seen in action. — Principal Correspondent
