M.A. Baby hospitalised

Thiruvananthapuram: Education Minister M.A. Baby was admitted to the Cath ICU at Medical College Hospital here on Sunday morning after he complained of physical discomfort.

Medical College authorities said that Mr. Baby had been travelling on Saturday and that he had experienced chest pain on Sunday morning. His condition was stated to be satisfactory. Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan visited Mr. Baby at the hospital in the evening.

Meanwhile, Food and Civil Supplies Minister C. Divakaran, who was hospitalised following chest infection, was discharged on Sunday evening.
