HASSAN: Society is facing increasing problems relating to youth owing to the neglect of moral education, Deputy Director for Pre-University Education P.K. Bhavani said.

Earlier, a lot of importance was given to moral education in Indian society and elders inculcated good habits in children. Now, electronic media was bombarding the youth with images, misleading them. She was speaking after inaugurating a seminar and elocution competition on "AIDS and Youth" at Shantigrama village in Hassan taluk on Thursday.

The seminar was jointly organised by Field Publicity Office, Government of India, Nehru Yuva Kendra and Health Department.

Field Publicity Officer N.D. Prasad welcomed the gathering.Prizes were given to winners .
