IIME award for RRL director

BHUBANESWAR: Director of Regional Research Laboratory (RRL), Bhubaneswar Barada Kanta Mishra was presented with IIME Mineral Beneficiation Award for 2007 for his contribution towards improving plant practice involving tumbling mills. Mr. Mishra received the award from Chairman Atomic Energy Commission Anil Kakodkar at an international seminar on Mineral Processing Technology (MPT-2007) organised by IIT Bombay recently. The award was conferred on Prof. Mishra for his original approach to model mineral processing operation using the discrete element method (DEM).
