CHENNAI:
Indian Science Monitor on Tuesday honoured scientists, scholars and experts with their annual `Achievement Awards.' Those presented with awards were Baldev Raj, director, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research at Kalpakkam, T. Sathyamurthy, archaeologist, T.P Ganesan, pro-vice chancellor, SRM University, D.P Madheswaran, structural engineer and Bhaskaran, media personality.
Solar, wind energy
Dr. Baldev Raj said India has to use all options, including solar and wind energy sources, to meet its future requirements.
