Water Adalat

Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will hold a Water Adalat of South 1 and South 2 sub-division on Monday from 9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the office of the Assistant Executive Engineer of South1 sub-division at Banagiri. The executive engineer of the south division will conduct the adalat. Customers are requested to submit written applications regarding billing disputes addressed to the chairman, adalat committee, at the respective sub-division offices. Training for women

M.P. CAT holiday

The Central Administrative Tribunal's Bangalore Bench will have a four-day vacation from March 13. According to a press release, G. Shanthappa Member (J) will be the vacation judge. The Bench will sit in court Hall No II on March 14 from 10.30 a.m. to dispose of urgent matters as directed by the Bench. The filing counter in the registry of the tribunal will remain open from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the vacation and will receive only urgent applications, the release added.

Vocational training

The National Association for the Blind and Rehabilitation and Basic Training Centre will conduct a year's free vocational training in light engineering and subsidiary vocational skills from April 2 for blind persons in the age group of 16 to 30. Free training

The Government's Pre-Examination Training Centre will conduct a free training programme for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes and minority candidates who will appear for CET examinations during May 2007 for medical, engineering and professional courses on the centre premises in Vasanthnagar from April 1. Interested candidates can obtain the prescribed forms from the principal, Pre-Examination Training Centre, Ambedkar Bhavan, Millers Road, Vasanthnagar.
