Studio owner dead

BANGALORE:
Kuppuswamy Naidu (83), owner of Chamudeshwari Studio, which once saw a galaxy of cinema personalities under its roof, was found dead on Sunday.
According to the police, Naidu, a bachelor, was staying with two caretakers.
He was found dead in the morning in the studio in the High Grounds Police Station limits. He was suffering from asthma and other health problems.
However Ajay, son of Naidu's brother, told the police he suspected foul play as the information about the death reached him two hours later. The police have registered a case.
Sentenced
Two persons, Ramaswamy and Vadivelu, were sentenced by a Magistrate to five years of imprisonment and pay fine of Rs. 5,000 for taking gold and silver ornaments valued at Rs. 35,000 in December 2005 from a house.
