Woman killed

ERODE: A woman was killed in a family feud here on Sunday. According to the police, there used to be frequent quarrels between Kamalam (50), wife of Duraisamy and her son-in-law Suresh (30). In one such quarrel on Sunday, Suresh attacked Kamalam with a sickle. His wife Malathy also received cut injuries when she tried to prevent Suresh. Both Kamalam and Malathy were taken to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, but Kamalam died on way. A search is on for Suresh.
