BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday evening inaugurated Orissa's first computer set-up at Capital Police station that would facilitate filing of complaints in computers. The programme, Common Integrated Police Application (CIPA), would immediately help hand over the copy of First Information Report (FIR). The CIPA is being implemented in all states and union territories. About 40 police stations of the State were going to have the CIPA set-up by the end of March while 140 police stations would be equipped with the system by May. All the police stations of the State would be covered under the programme within two-year time.
