MADURAI: Sree Ramcides Chemicals has come out with a mosquito repellent spray, `STOP,' that was used by the Army, for public use. Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation, the spray is based on a pharma product Diethyl Phenyl Acetamide. Says C. Kandasamy, general manager of the agro chemicals manufacturing concern, "We have got the licence to manufacture the product for civilian use after a `transfer of technology' agreement with the Ministry of Defence." It was launched in the Temple City on Sunday by R. Padmanaban, managing director of the company. Further information on the product could be obtained from R.
