NALGONDA: Nalgonda district Collector Kaveti Vijayanand has won the `Dataquest e-Gov Champion Award-2007' for promoting the cause of e-Governance. "It's indeed a national recognition for our efforts to make use of IT tools for effective implementation of service delivery systems," the beaming Collector told reporters here on Tuesday. Apart from Mr. Vijayanand, Raghunathan V.S. of SIO-NIC, Kerala and Sanjay Jaju, Commissioner, MCH, won the awards from south India. The annual awards are given by Dataquest magazine in association with Department of Information Technology, Government of India.
