Vinod Sridhar thrashes Rupam Bora

HYDERABAD: Top-seeded Vinod Sridhar of Tamil Nadu blanked Rupam Bora of Assam 6-0, 6-0 in the men's singles first round of the Circars AITA men's tennis tournament at Kakinada on Tuesday, according to information received here.

Krishna Karsolia of Uttar Pradesh shocked sixth-seeded Yagnik Nellord of Delhi 7-6(3), 6-4 in another first round match. Second seeded J. Vishnuvardhan (AP) and third-seeded P.C. Vignesh posted comfortable wins to move up.
