All-India match-play golf

NEW DELHI: The SRF all-India professional match-play golf championship will be held at the Noida Golf Course near here from March 13 to 17. The Rs. 20 lakh tournament has, for the first time, moved out of the Delhi Golf Club course, which hosted the tournament since it was launched.

Top 64 pro golfers will be seeded according to their ranking on the current Order of Merit in a knock-out format. The final will be played over 36 holes for a prize of Rs. 5.20 lakh.

In form Ashok Kumar with two back-to-back wins, Mukesh Kumar, Uttam Singh Mundy, Gurbaaz Mann, Vijay Kumar and Digvijay Singh have confirmed their entries for the championship.
