NEW DELHI: Mahmood A. Madani, MP, on Tuesday said the Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind would continue to support the cause of weaker and oppressed sections of society.

He was reacting to alleged threats made by the Bajrang Dal, warning the Jamiat to not organise public programmes and rallies.

In a statement here, Mr. Madani said he would not be cowed down by such veiled threats.
